Instructions
Step 1
The wrong food is the # 1 cause of irritability. Lack of breakfast affects metabolism. It slows down, and it’s not surprising that fatigue sets in by lunchtime, and with it irritation. Tip: Include potatoes, bread, and pasta on your menu. Starchy foods are responsible for the production of tryptophan in the human body. It is an amino acid that is essential for mental balance and the normalization of the nervous system.
Step 2
Lack of sleep is also a common cause of irritability. To regain your strength, you need 6-8 hours of sound, restful sleep. A tip on how to get rid of irritability associated with lack of sleep: as soon as you feel that you want to sleep, do not struggle with yourself, go to bed immediately. Lavender oil in a concentration of 8-10 drops per serving of warm night bath foam will ensure you a sound and sweet sleep. Thanks to the effect of lavender on the brain, blood flows from it, the central nervous system calms down. This remedy is an excellent substitute for sleeping pills.
Step 3
Physical inactivity (or decreased physical activity). Note that when you are angry, you want to break something, you want to shout, jump. That's right, intense movement allows you to throw out negative energy. Advice: in order to regain self-control in this case, you need to go out into the fresh air, if possible, inhale slowly and deeply through your nose, hold your breath, mentally counting to five, then exhale slowly through your mouth. Repeat for two minutes. Sign up for a sports section. Sport fosters self-control and composure.
Step 4
Psychological attitude. The boss shouted, had a fight with your beloved - try to disconnect from the situation, it has already happened, and you are not able to change anything. Advice on how to overcome irritability in this case: take a good old comedy movie, and the irritation will surely recede. Humor is a great anti-stress medicine
Step 5
Dehydration as a cause of irritability. Unmotivated outbreaks of irritation can be caused by insufficient intake of water in the body. After all, you need to drink at least 8 glasses of water per day (it can be just water, mineral, herbal and green teas). Tip: Limit your coffee intake to two small cups or increase the amount of liquids you drink. We recommend brewing a soothing collection of mint and motherwort for the night (2 tsp per glass of boiling water).
