What are dreams? They are sublime and noble, bright and colorful, light and airy. Most often they are associated with the fact that a person is currently lacking, but what he would passionately desire. And yet, dreams do not always come true.

Most people almost always lack something - wealth, fame, mutual love, recognition of personal merit, career success, etc. No matter how upset the applicant is by the absence of the desired at a given moment in time, it, as a rule, by its very perspective gives a powerful incentive to development, to move forward.

Remarkable is the fact that a lot of what a person dreams of, be it things, feelings or states, upon closer examination, may turn out to be completely unnecessary for him. That is, he can easily do without them. Moreover, their presence not only would not make him happy, but in the end it would also be something superfluous, useless, unnecessary.

In order not to get upset about unfulfilled desires, it is worth accepting that at any moment in your life you have exactly that and exactly in such quantity as you need it. If something that you think is very important is still not there, perhaps you really don't need it. This position, at least, allows you to get rid of some kind of resentment, regret, self-accusation and disappointment.

Often, the main mistake of a person who gets lost in his so-called dreams is that he constantly compares himself with others. He envies, looks back at those around him, strives to ensure that he has everything "like everyone else." Otherwise, his life seems to him unsuccessful, wrong and unsuccessful - and maybe even devoid of meaning.

In this case, it is necessary to understand that each person should have their own path, their own bar. It is equally important to accept with gratitude what is available at the moment; to abandon the stereotypes imposed by society on the topic of what a "happy life" is. Maybe what will be “happiness” for one person will only hinder the realization of his real cherished dreams. Take yourself and your current achievements for granted, unconditionally and with love.

So, you must have your own plan. Your own path, along which you and only you must walk on your own, not looking up to anyone, not trying to meet anyone's expectations and not imitating anyone. If the dream stubbornly "does not come true", try to revise it for realism and expediency for you personally.

By the way, sometimes it takes no less courage to give up your dream than to fulfill it. Sometimes it is necessary to accept that there are more pressing concerns in life, such as small children or sick parents that need to be taken care of. Or to admit honestly to myself that I did not have enough courage, perseverance, knowledge. In any case, when some dreams remain behind the scenes, you shouldn't make a tragedy out of it.

In general, dreams, regardless of the degree of their attainability, are designed to fill life with meaning, guide and inspire. You can just close your eyes and imagine your dream in all the smallest detail. "Coming true", even if only in imagination, she is already able to decorate the dullness of everyday life with all the colors of the rainbow.
