Midges appear at home if you have flooded flowers, spoiled fruits or vegetables. They multiply at high speed, and in a few hours, instead of a couple of pieces, a whole swarm of midges will fly. You can get rid of it in just a couple of days.

It is necessary

  • - insecticide;
  • - bottle;
  • - bank;
  • - paper;
  • - plastic cup;
  • - cling film;
  • - thick needle;
  • - a vacuum cleaner.

Instructions

Step 1

Establish the cause of the appearance of midges. If it is rotten food, throw it away. Store normal vegetables and fruits in a cool covered place.

Step 2

In the warm season, take out the flooded flowers to the balcony and do not water until the soil in the pots dries out. If it is cold on the balcony, then pour some kind of insecticide into the ground: Bazudin, Thunder-2, etc.

Step 3

If you have pets, wash their bowls regularly. Throw away or refrigerate half-eaten food.

Step 4

Sometimes midges can fly through the window from neighbors or from basements. In this case, mosquito nets on the windows will help you.

Step 5

Do not leave mugs of water on the table, wipe tables, dishes, sink. Remove all sponges, rags and washcloths. You must restrict access to water for insects, as without it, their vital activity is impossible.

Step 6

Take a bottle, put an orange peel, a slice of bread, or some other product that attracts midges into it. After a large number of gnats have accumulated in the bottle, close it and discard it. If you feel sorry for throwing away the bottle, then submerge it under water and open it. The midges will float to the surface. Pour the water with midges down the drain.

Step 7

Pour compote or juice into a bottle. Roll up a piece of paper with a funnel and insert it into the neck of the bottle. Midges will fly into the bottle through a small hole, attracted by the smell, but they will not be able to fly out of it.

Step 8

Take a plastic cup, put a piece of food in it. Cover the glass with cling film. Make holes in the film with a thick needle. The principle of the method is similar to the previous one. After filling the glass with insects, simply slap on it. It is possible that not all midges will die from the impact, so throw the glass into the trash can on the street.

Step 9

Suck up gnats with a vacuum cleaner. Throw away the dust bag immediately after turning off the vacuum cleaner, before the midges "come to their senses" and begin to fly out of it.
