How does a reasonable man differ from a monkey? The presence of the psyche. Human mental health is a very interesting question. After all, it is directly related to physical health. I discovered this thesis for myself quite recently, and I want to tell you about it.

Let's start with the question of self-control. If a person controls himself at the subconscious level, he has fewer physical health problems (do not take into account chronic diseases and serious injuries). The mainstay of this is the control of emotions. Both negative and positive, oddly enough. An excess of even positive emotions is harmful.

Let's take an example for clarity: a young girl of 20 years old, positive and cheerful at first glance, suffers from heart pains. What's the matter? He does not drink alcohol, he goes in for sports. And the fact is that she suffers from emotional dissatisfaction: she gives too much emotion, receives little in return, and often is not at all what is needed. Dissatisfaction builds up and affects the heart. The girl does not understand the cause of these pains and drinks medications. And if she started thinking about how she positions herself emotionally, the pain would go away by itself.

To better understand the essence of the issue, let us analyze the very process of "life of emotion". Emotion arises as a reaction to this or that event, for example, meeting a nice person, reading an interesting book, quarrel with superiors, etc. Negative or positive, emotion begins to "live" in a person, affects his mood, partially on behavior, train of thought, etc.

Again, let's look at an example: a man felt a strong emotional attraction to a woman (not to be confused with a physical one). And, in case of irresponsibility on her part, he begins to feel discomfort: there may be problems with self-esteem, bad mood, lack of appetite, unwillingness to work, etc. Accordingly, what we have as a result, if a person does not understand the importance of self-regulation at the emotional level, he begins to "flatten and sausage" on the physical. There are rare cases when a person has difficulty in self-control - due to congenital diseases. This is due to the poor functioning of the cerebellum. But in this case, a person knows about it from birth and there is already a completely different story.

In fact, with the help of the psyche, you can control your body. I came to the conclusion that the psyche has the property of memory. Do you know the feeling of euphoria when you passed the last exam and the holidays are ahead? If you work on yourself, you can reproduce this state without external factors. The problem is that the method of self-knowledge is purely individual. You can try to formulate it: in moments of strong emotional shock, you need to try to consciously remember the mood, actions, thoughts.

You can try to turn to reflexes: during such a rise, accustom yourself to perform some one action - jump, somehow definitely move your hands, etc. There is a possibility that the body will reflect and reproduce an emotional state. This is very convenient if you are a person of a creative profession - in moments of inspiration, you can try to remember this state and reproduce it later. Do not expect that you will succeed the first time - this is the psyche, everything is purely individual.
