Sometimes the established way of life becomes a real trap. Habits, old and deeply ingrained in your life, make it difficult to look at it from a new perspective. When the lifestyle is addictive, but you understand that this state of affairs will not lead to good, you should not be afraid to change everything.
Instructions
Step 1
Before you start drastic changes, think carefully about what exactly does not suit you in your current situation. What features of the usual way of life in the future can lead you to the most unpleasant consequences? It is best to take a piece of paper and write it all down. First, write everything that you are unhappy with. Then write in general everything that is typical for your current lifestyle. It happens that some parts of everyday life that satisfy you are closely related to unpleasant moments, and sometimes ordinary-looking activities, if you look at them in perspective, can lead you to very unpleasant consequences.
Step 2
Now, next to each problem, write its solution. But here not everything may be obvious. For example, if you think your house is a mess and you need to do something about it, then the first decision that comes to mind is to clean more often. But why didn't you do it more often before? Sometimes one problem hides another. You may have a back pain to mop the floor frequently. Then you need to buy a comfortable mop with which you do not need to bend over. Or even hire a visiting housekeeper: her services are not so expensive.
Step 3
If some problems still seem insoluble, it is useful to try to decompose them into components. Here it may turn out that one big trouble, if broken down into many small ones, is quite manageable. Or you may find the root of the problem, which may not be easy to fix, but is still possible. You will at least know which direction to take. Solutions for some problems may not immediately come to mind: in life, everything is not always simple.
Step 4
Take your time to change your entire lifestyle in one day. It is best to introduce one new habit no more than once a week. And remember that it takes a long time for a person to form a habit, usually from 21 to 40 days. A correct lifestyle should consist of habits that together make your life happy and comfortable, and your life subtle.
Step 5
Throwing out any old items from your wardrobe is also helpful. This simple but extremely effective procedure will give you strength and allow you to look at yourself in a new way, and therefore at the whole way of life.
Step 6
Make time for your daily routine. Usually it is the basis of your way of life. If you're in the habit of doing things too slowly or putting them off for too long, this creates a poor foundation for many positive changes. You should pull yourself together. Time management can help you with this.
Step 7
It is extremely useful, if you are already taking on the changes, to pay close attention to your health and shape. Play sports or other physical activity. A gym, a run, or at least a daily short walk will tone you up and refresh your mind.
