You may not have known this, but even at school, mnemonics helped you learn the sequence of cases in the Russian language. Remember the phrase "Ivan gave birth to a girl, ordered to drag the diaper"? This is one of the mnemonic devices: by the first letters of each word, you can determine the sequence of cases: Nominative, Genitive, Dative, Accusative, Instrumental and Prepositional, respectively.

The same technique will help you if you suddenly want to quickly and effortlessly remember the location of the planets of our solar system.
