The death of a person for the people around him is often incomprehensible, terrible, painful. And how can you come to terms with the fact that a close relative or friend who has been with you throughout your life suddenly disappears from the face of the Earth forever?

How to survive the death of a loved one with the least loss?
How to survive the death of a loved one with the least loss?

First of all, it is worth remembering that everything in this world is going through certain stages of development: birth, growth, maturity, aging, death. Moreover, this applies not only to people and animals, but also to objects of inanimate nature: stars, states, civilizations, etc. Nothing in this world lasts forever, this is how the Universe works.

Think for a minute about the fact that in a hundred years, no one living today will be on Earth. Unless only a few remain - the so-called centenarians. Considering the event on a planetary scale, one can come to the conclusion that sooner or later we will all die, each person has his own period of stay on Earth.

If you are a believer, it will be easier for you to understand and survive the death of a loved one, because faith gives hope. According to the Bible, all of us are waiting for the second coming of Christ, the resurrection of all the dead and the Last Judgment. The righteous will remain in the Kingdom of Heaven, the fiery hyena will devour sinners forever. This is approximately how Orthodoxy predicts the future of all Christians.

In the meantime, in anticipation of the events predicted by the books of Scripture, visit the temple, order memorial prayers, light candles for the peace of the soul of the deceased servant of God, communicate with the priest - all this will help you to dull the pain of loss.

There are other religions other than Orthodoxy, in which people also hope for the possibility of life after death. For example, in Buddhism, people believe in a chain of rebirths after death and in enlightenment, which becomes the apogee of a person's spiritual and personal development. An enlightened person in Buddhism is an individual who is in complete harmony with nature and the Universe and receives skills beyond the control of an ordinary person, up to immortality.

The essence of death, its meaning in many respects still remain a mystery for the majority of people living on Earth today. If from the standpoint of physiology everything is more or less clear, then questions about the existence of the soul still remain open.

The day of death is still a mournful memorable date for the loved ones of a departed person, but who knows, maybe someday humanity will reveal this secret too, and this event will acquire a completely different, more conscious assessment.
