In the life of each person, various events occur - both good for him and bad. But one manages to look at the real world calmly and judiciously, while others "inflate" themselves and endlessly suffer even from what has not yet been and may never be. The environment for them is painted only with dark colors. Can you learn to notice bright colors in the palette of life? Psychologists believe that it is not only possible, but even necessary.

Instructions

Step 1

Realize the benefits of your ability to see the good and think only in a positive way. Firstly, this is an improvement in your health, because if you do not experience stress, you will have a hormonal background, on which, in turn, the work of many organs and systems in the body depends. Secondly, your good mood will, like a magnet, attract good people to you. Thirdly, your strength will triple to perform different loads. Finally, you will be able to achieve many of your goals as you gain confidence in your strengths and capabilities.

Step 2

First of all, try to keep yourself from negative emotions. And even if something out of the ordinary has happened in your life, do not immerse yourself in a stressful situation for a long time. Learn to translate negative thoughts from the emotional to the analytical.

Step 3

For example, give yourself a few minutes to “step back” a little and start analyzing the situation using the three-question technique known in psychology:

1. What good can be found in this situation?

2. What conclusions can be drawn and what can be learned?

3. How can this situation be corrected based on the findings?

When you learn to react to negativity this way, your thoughts will take on a different color.

Step 4

If you perceived something negatively, try to mentally make three positive arguments with the word "but". For example, “I missed the bus, but … got the opportunity to walk in the fresh air”, etc.

Step 5

Try to treat people who do something awkward, not with annoyance, but with humor. It's the same with different situations. Find something funny in them.

Step 6

For example, mark 10 days for yourself during which you will try to think only positively. And no matter what happens to you, strive to see only the positive side, and also think about how you can benefit from this situation. You won't be able to ignore the problem, but pay attention only to the ways to solve it.

Step 7

Get a special notebook for yourself, where before going to bed, write down all the good things that happened and what made you happy. It should be at least 8-10 points. If at first you will not succeed, look, later you will remember such events with ease.

Step 8

Try to do at least a little something good for the people around you every day. You will see that the world around you has changed for the better.

Step 9

To learn to see the good around you, try to see more of the good within you. Be honest with yourself, and don't sugarcoat your flaws. But instead of berating yourself for them, think about how you can fix them. And when you overcome something difficult, do not forget to put yourself a "plus". Changing yourself for the better, you will perceive the world around you in a different way.
