Grief from the loss of a loved one is a very strong feeling. It weighs heavily on the shoulders of relatives and does not let go for a long time. Gradually, the feeling weakens as life goes on. But sometimes the pain is so great that it covers everything around a person with its heavy veil. This stops the flow of his life. And this is wrong. In practical psychology, there is a technique called “Healing Mandala”. She helps to relive the feeling of grief from the loss of a loved one and to see the possibility of future life. A guide is needed to complete this technique. A person who will correct actions and prompt them. Therefore, it is well suited when you are trying to help survive death.

It is necessary

  • - a large sheet of paper (A2 or A4);
  • - colour pencils;
  • - relaxing music.

Instructions

Step 1

The technique is performed for any amount of time. It may take several minutes or several days. It depends on the readiness to complete each stage. Prepare a sheet of paper in advance. Draw a large circle on it. Divide it into 4 equal parts. Each of them will need to be filled in gradually. To create a good atmosphere, play nice, non-annoying music. The person drawing the mandala should be given the steps below, step by step.

Step 2

In the first part, draw a fond memory of a person who has passed away. Let it be a vivid, colorful memory. The drawing can be anything: detailed or schematic, possibly abstract. Your drawing skills are not so important here, the emotions that you put into this image are important.

Step 3

In the second part, depict the death of this person. It can be an actual depiction of the moment of death or a perception of it. Drawing in the form of abstraction or some kind of symbol. It is important that the paper takes over your feelings.

Step 4

In the third part, draw yourself without the deceased person. It can be your emotions in color or a few situational drawings. Listen to your feelings and don't think about image quality.

Step 5

Now think about how you are now connected with the person who passed away. Where is he now? After all, people do not leave without a trace … Their soul remains immortal, and it sees you and takes care of you. There is an invisible and inextricable link. Stretch a thin thread from your heart to the heart of the person you are so grieving about. This inseparable connection of hearts does not know physical laws and exists outside the boundaries of consciousness. Think about it and try to put on paper how you feel.

Step 6

Review your mandala. Allow time for the feelings that have taken hold of you for so long to calm down. By expressing them on paper, in your action (drawing), you gave them the opportunity to go free. You can keep the mandala for yourself or burn it when you are ready for it.
