A person has been trying to understand the nature of dreams for a long time, but until now the cause and mechanism of the occurrence of dreams have not been fully investigated and disclosed. In modern science, some scientists are sure: prophetic dreams do not exist. Others believe that a person remembers only dreams that have come true from the mass of what he sees. Adherents of esoteric knowledge believe: dreams can materialize, and in a dream a person "projects" events or materializes them into reality. There is also a point of view that the future of every person is predetermined, therefore dreams about the future are also deterministic. Futurologist John Dunn in his theory of "prophetic dreams" explains the ability of a sleeping person to penetrate into the future with little-studied multidimensionality of time. According to his theory, numerous dimensions are closely intertwined, and walking into the future is as easy as recalling past events. And, finally, there is an opinion that in a dream the boundaries of different times are blurred, so a person has the opportunity from time to time to involuntarily look into the future. And not only in what awaits him, but also in the less possible option. Psychologists consider sleep to be a product of the subconscious mind. The events that have occurred during the day, the human brain analyzes and makes a kind of prediction, but the phenomenon of the subconscious has not yet been studied. Sleep is a kind of information that the unconscious is trying to convey to a person's consciousness and give hints: what should be paid attention to or changed in order to find harmony. But he does it allegorically, by means of symbols and metaphors, deciphering which, a person will be able to understand the cause of many problems. The technique of interpreting dreams is not easy. First, the psychologist writes down all the symbols seen by the patient in a dream, then associations are selected for each of them, from which the most important are selected, and then they are all connected together. Through sleep, you can conduct a kind of dialogue with your unconscious: ask questions and get answers. Moreover, disturbing dreams require not only understanding, but also action. There is no universal dream book that interprets dreams. One and the same symbol for each specific person has its own, individual, meaning.
