Each person finds himself in a stressful situation, but some moments are perceived especially acutely - an unpleasant conversation with a boss, a scandal at home, bad news, etc. To be able to get out of a state of acute stress, you need to follow some tips.
In an acute stressful situation, it is important to restore calm breathing. To do this, you need to take a deep breath through your nose, linger a little and exhale slowly. This exercise should be done several times.
Find a calming activity for yourself. Look around you, mentally list everything that surrounds you. Speak to yourself the names and colors of the items. Counting the days is a good thing. Take a calculator and try to calculate how many days you live, how many hours in a month, how many times a year you brush your teeth, etc. These activities can help you calm down and distract yourself.
Try to relax. Drink some water, relax your lips, and get into a comfortable position. You can close your eyes for a few seconds and imagine that there is a beautiful seashore near you.
If possible, leave the area in which the stressful situation has arisen. It is best to go out into the fresh air, but if this is not possible, then another room, a corridor, a balcony will do.
A special exercise will also help you calm down. To do this, place your feet shoulder-width apart and lean forward. The body should be relaxed, the arms should hang down freely. Breathe calmly and slowly. In this position, it is enough to stand for 1-2 minutes.
Try to find a pleasant conversation partner. Find a common topic of conversation - children, animals, recreation, hobbies, etc. If there is no one nearby, then turn on pleasant music. These simple ways can help you quickly restore morale.
