A burning topic does not guarantee the success of a performance. The audience will not listen to the speaker if they are not interested. There is no point in being afraid of inattention, just think in advance about each of your actions in front of the public.

Instructions
Step 1
Prepare your presentation. Even the smartest and most knowledgeable people plan every meeting with people. Any question from the outside can distract from the topic, and the public likes confident speakers.
Step 2
Dress in such a way that the audience takes you for theirs. Remember the saying "They meet you by their clothes, they see them off according to their minds." It is still relevant. Find out what kind of audience you are going to perform in and choose the appropriate costume. Workers are unlikely to accept a person in bright club clothes, and you should not go out to businessmen in a sweater. People are more willing to accept speakers who are similar to themselves. But keep in mind: you should be dressed a little better than your average listener.
Step 3
Achieve some silence before your performance. Otherwise, you will simply not be heard. The audience will calm down for a minute if you go on stage and just keep quiet and watch people.
Step 4
Break the audience's mistrust at the start of the talk. One of the rules of a successful speaker is that if you make the person laugh, they will treat you with sympathy. Therefore, make some ridiculous blanks.
It's good if you can tell a few interesting facts from your life in the context of your speech. Personalization is a safe bet.
And in order to finally melt the ice of mistrust, try to operate with facts that are relevant specifically for this audience. For example, when speaking in front of factory workers, you should first know their average salary. Weave this information into your presentation, and you will immediately become more interesting for the audience.
Step 5
Speak to your audience in their language. Most likely, an intellectual will not hear an orator expounding his thoughts using street jargon, and ordinary workers will react with irony to the excessive literary speech.
Step 6
Try to make your idea clear to the child, but at the same time, do not communicate with the public as with children.
