Socionics is a popular theory of personality types based on the theory of C. Jung. With its help, you can better understand yourself and your environment, as well as understand - with whom you work more efficiently, and whom to choose as life companions.
What is socionics and why is it needed?
In recent years, socionics has attracted great interest - it captures both psychology and sociology. Now it is not difficult to pass the test to determine the socionic type on the Internet.
Socionics is often used in educational institutions. It is believed that a teacher with knowledge of socionics can build a learning model more successfully. Advertisers and marketers use socionics to identify consumer needs. The leader, knowing the socionic types of his subordinates, can create an ideal team.
There are sixteen psychological types in socionics, which are distinguished on the basis of four pairs of opposite signs. It should be noted that each type contains all the signs, but of varying degrees of severity.
First pair: extroversion and introversion
Extroverts are people who are "outwardly" oriented towards others. They are sociable, energetic, easy to start a conversation, they have many friends. Extroverts tend to wear brighter clothes and listen to fun, fast music.
For introverts, everything is exactly the opposite - they are rather closed, do not like noisy companies and delightfully delve into their own inner world.
Second pair: rationality and irrationality
Rational is correct. So that everything is on the shelves, everything is as it should be. A rational person has an unconscious desire to disassemble all events into their components, to assess and decide what to do next, after weighing all the pros and cons.
Irrational - spontaneous, he goes with the flow. It is difficult for him to make a choice, and often until the very last moment he himself does not know what to do in the current situation.
The third pair: sensing and intuition
Sensing is living in the here and now. Sensors are "earthly", they are not inclined to fly in the clouds, it is more important for them that there is always lunch on the table, and everything in the house is tidy and beautiful. They know how to create comfort, and work well with their hands.
Intuits value creativity and feel good about other people. They love to reflect on the past and the future, to learn something new, even if this new does not bring any practical benefit. Intuits can indeed predict events.
Fourth pair: logic and ethics
For logicians, the most important thing is facts. They are excellent at looking for cause-and-effect relationships, they evaluate everything from the position of reasonable / unreasonable. But emotions and feelings are pushed into the farthest corner.
Ethics are, of course, the opposite of logicians. Ethics literally sense other people, their mood, well-being. The tone in which they are addressed is very important to them. Emotions of ethics are always noticeable, they are not afraid to express their feelings.
