Extroverted logicians love facts, lists, algorithms. Introverted logicians are primarily interested in finding internal relationships between facts.
Extroverted ethics are experts in the sphere of influencing large masses of people, they know how to attract attention to themselves, with the help of emotions they express their attitude to what is happening. Introverted ethics are well versed in relationships between people, they have developed empathic abilities, they are able to adapt to the interlocutor.

However, the socionic type is built in such a way that in its structure, out of eight designated positions, the leading ones are always two. But at the same time, either one or the other can lead.
- At the same time, one of the leading positions in the socionic type is always extraverted, and the second is introverted.
- Intuition with logic or ethics, sensing with logic or ethics can be combined with each other in a pair of leading positions.
- The word "extrovert" or "introvert" in the name of the socionic personality type always refers to the first position. For example, if a type is called "Intuitive-logical extravert", it means that the first position in this type is extraverted intuition, and the second is introverted logic.
