In the life of almost any person, crises occur. They are not always associated with some tragic events and personal dramas. It's just that the time has come for a reassessment of values and a possible change in reference points. One of these crises occurs for about 30 years.

You need to know the enemy by sight

Most often, in the thirtieth year of life (for some a little earlier, for some a little later), a change of priorities occurs in a person's life. For example, men often leave their old jobs or change their field of activity altogether.

Women who have already had a family and children can decide to divorce or bet on a career. And careerists, on the contrary, are beginning to pay more attention to the search for a permanent life partner, thinking about procreation.

In general, the majority at the age of 30 strives to strengthen their status as a successful adult, able to take responsibility for their actions and actions. Of course, such a change in landmarks often leads to stress, since trying yourself in a new role is not as easy as it seems at first glance. But, on the other hand, I don't want to live in the old way.

That is why psychologists called this period of life a crisis.

The severity of experiencing a crisis for 30 years is very different. Some even get depressed because they don't know what to do to reorganize their lives. Others are simply frightened by the unknown, hence the constant feeling of anxiety, insomnia and all the ensuing consequences. And someone, on the contrary, looks to the future with confidence and, overcoming himself, moves on. How quickly a person gets out of the crisis depends on the effectiveness of his actions and decisions.

Why do women experience the crisis 30 years more acutely?

The fair sex is by nature much more emotional than men, therefore, most of life's troubles cause a storm of emotions in them. In addition, the problem lies in the reproductive function of the body.

According to gynecologists, a woman should give birth to her first child before the age of 35. Getting pregnant for the first time after 35 and bearing a healthy fetus will be much more difficult.

Although many people now prefer to give birth to children at a later age (about 30-40). Nevertheless, older people can joke something like: “In the days of my youth, unmarried women in such years were considered old maids,” supposedly hinting to their granddaughter or any other young person that it was time to decide and have children. And in the depths of her soul, a woman herself perfectly understands this.

Not everyone manages to painlessly react to this from the side of society and others, so the situation is only getting worse. And to get out of the crisis, the help of a psychologist is often required.
