How many times have you promised yourself to start doing anything (or stop doing anything) from a certain day - from Monday, from the 1st of the month, from the New Year? Waiting for the right opportunity, you can wait for the end of your life.

If you count it, it will be typed a couple of hundred times, no less - at least for me. And how many times has this "anything" really started or ended? Even if something began, it immediately ended))

Waiting for the right opportunity, you can wait for the end of your life - and this is hardly part of your plans. Not included in mine. In the meantime, in order to change life for the better, you just need a clear plan and one "hellish week".

There is a joke: "To get out of the comfort zone, you must first enter it." But if we have already entered and are sitting in this warm swamp, then for the sake of a good cause of changing our only life, we will have to go out again.

What is comfort?

It is a habit and a familiar situation that gives the impression of being safe (in fact, it is not a fact that it is, but we perceive it that way). And even if we suffer and endure inconvenience, this is habitual suffering and inconvenience.

One day, all this can be very painful for someone - and the person makes a big mistake: he runs away abruptly and far.

Tired of his beloved, but low-paid and hopeless job - he quits and leaves for Thailand. Everything in the family is so broken that you can't fix it - he leaves the family … and leaves for Thailand. I took out a loan, there is nothing to give … well, you understand …))

In the meantime, according to former Norwegian special forces soldier Eric Bertrand Larssen, for real change you don't need to run anywhere (you can't run away from yourself). And you need to change the reality in which life is being realized at the moment.

Larssen went through hell week (this is a tough way to select fighters). For seven days, beginners do not eat anything and hardly sleep, they go through new tests in the style of "reach the goal through ice water and mud."

A week later, the Norwegian was almost exhausted, but proud of himself, and most importantly, his life had completely changed. He learned to appreciate simple things and realized that he could achieve whatever he wanted.

Like all of us.

Larssen has developed a civilian version of "hell week", at any time you can read and implement yourself.

But we have all heard the parable about the broom. One twig can be easily broken, and a few more difficult. You can't break a whole broom with your bare hands. And doing something alone for your beloved life is very interesting and useful, but sometimes boring and difficult. The fuse quickly disappears, the head forgets everything.
