A person with willpower can control his life, predict and act on a strictly set plan. It is this ability that allows you to be successful, and also gives you the opportunity to develop as a person. A strong-willed person is unshakable in achieving a goal, he invented it, planned it and then goes to it, it is for a positive result that the will is simply necessary.
Instructions
Step 1
In order to develop willpower, learn to go towards your goal and act strictly according to the plan. Start simple: plan your day by the hour, set yourself a simple goal like exercising. In no case do not drop the case halfway, complete it, even if you do not want to.
Step 2
Try to do what you don't like. For example, you do not like vacuuming in an apartment - take the vacuum cleaner and go. That is, you have to overcome your “I don’t want”, “I cannot”. Also try not to be tempted. For example, you find out about something interesting, and you can't wait to tell it to your friend - keep quiet.
Step 3
Inspire yourself that you can do anything. Please note that you must not only talk about it, but also think about it. Can't stop biting your nails? Tell yourself: "I can do it, and I will!"
Step 4
Realize your own self. Stop being lazy. As if mentally separate your "I" from the physical body. For example, you want to overcome yourself and quit eating after six in the evening. As soon as this time comes, hands are drawn to the next portion of food. Here it is necessary to understand that this desire is only for the physical body, because the "I" does not want this. Be Stronger - Don't let your body take over its own thoughts.
Step 5
Train your willpower by rejecting yourself. Of course, not everything will work out right away, but do not give up. For example, you really want to buy yourself a new dress - say no to yourself.
Step 6
Try to do something you don't like with pleasure, imagine what the result will be, how you will raise yourself in the eyes of others, for example. Never give up. Be sure to praise yourself for the work you've done. Have you finally quit smoking? Great, you are great. Now try to stop using foul language, for example. Do not stop there, constantly train willpower, of course, within reason.
