This article is suitable for those who are just starting to get acquainted with the techniques of meditation. It is best to start meditation with purification in order to get rid of internal obstacles in the process of immersion in a meditative state.
First of all, choose the time of day that suits you. Although it is recommended that we meditate in the hours before dawn, many of us have slightly altered biological rhythms. So pick the time of day when you are most active. For example, if your greatest activity takes place in the evening hours, then for you your meditative hours will be sunset - early evening.
On the day when you feel inclined to contemplation, your thoughts flow like water, you are not overloaded with things, it is best to do the "Purification" technique. Go to the forest or park. You can do it in your room, the main thing is that no one bothers you. Sit back in your chosen spot and relax. Breathe in and out deeply several times. Look at objects around, listen to sounds, but do not hold your attention on them. Stay in this state for a few minutes.
Mentally tune the flow in your consciousness to remove all negative energy, relieve tension and blocks. It can be any image you like. But, for example, you can imagine how all unnecessary and unnecessary information leaves through your head in a certain stream, everything that bothers you leaves you. After a while, you will feel a kind of emptiness inside and at the same time a little fatigue.
Then, give yourself a "One-Zero" order to stop the internal dialogue. This means that when you count to zero, not a single thought will remain in your head, emptiness and vacuum will be inside. Then slowly begin the countdown: "Ten, nine, eight … two, one, zero!" On count zero, you plunge into prostration.
In this state, you are open to your preconsciousness and the collective unconscious. In fact, this is the beginning of meditation. In this state, the most interesting thoughts and keys to solving your own problems become available to you.
This technique can be used both simply to purify consciousness and to prepare for meditation.
