How often do we have the feeling that we have a "porridge" in our head?.. Thoughts get confused, as if in a hurry … And we obviously can't keep up with them, being distracted by parallel current problems, which seem to have no end in sight. To this is added perfectionism, carefully put into our heads by our parents: you must be the smartest, strongest, fastest … And of course, a little bit of the city with its inner architectonics: the noise of the roads, the bustle of the crowd and the never-ending drill of a neighbor. In the midst of all this, it is not easy to hear your inner voice. But there are at least 5 ways to do it.

Step 1

Slow down your step. In the literal sense of the word. Start walking slowly wherever you go. Even if you are late. Even if there is a feeling that the faster you do something, the freer / stronger / smarter you will become, etc. Remember the expression "running away from the problem"?.. As the pace slows down, the muscle structure of our body relaxes, which allows us to send fewer contractions to the brain. In other words, if you don't hear yourself well, stop.

Step 2

Separate proteins from carbohydrates. Separate food is simple: potatoes - separately from meat, cheese - from spaghetti, tomatoes - from all other products. For the assimilation of protein, an acidic environment is needed, for the digestion of carbohydrates, an alkaline one. This means that when we eat foods separately from each other, we do not overload the body, but, on the contrary, saturate it with energy and vitamins. The brain starts to work like a clock. Remember the expression "put everything on the shelves"? You can start.

Step 3

Shut up. For an hour. Or a couple. Or for a day. Through speech, we receive new information, even when only we are speaking. Leaving the brain without "food" for a while, we force it to digest the old. And gradually he just gets rid of what is the cause of our anxiety.

Step 4

Shout out vanity. Drive out into the field or forest, onto the river. Stand with your legs wide apart and your arms outstretched and scream that there is strength. And then shout out the vowel sounds in turn. "Aaaaa - oooo - uuuuu - eeee - yyyy" and in reverse order. When we often do not say something to the interlocutor (out of fear or compassion), all these words and texts get stuck in our minds, and now and then interfere with the thinking process. In addition, the throat muscle structure takes the blow and slowly atrophies. It is better to leave everything unspoken and unmourned to nature.

Step 5

Starve. Daily curative fasting is a faithful assistant to deal with the accumulated fatigue and look at the situation from a different angle. Indeed, in a state of stress, we often turn to products with a "bright" taste (strongly seasoned, salted or oversweetened). It is they who further contribute to nervous excitement, which distracts us from constructive thinking. How to correctly enter and exit fasting is better to read in the book by Paul Bragg "Therapeutic Fasting".
