Affirmations are simple sentences or texts that contain certain attitudes to get what you want. They are often compared to auto-training, but affirmations do not require specific conditions and are much easier to pronounce.
In life, it sometimes happens that a recently conceived wish is suddenly magically fulfilled. And what you wanted really comes into your life. There are probably enough examples of such, even among your friends. Why do some people fulfill their desires, while others do not? And what does affirmation have to do with all this?
Affirmations as part of life
If you replay certain events in your head or constantly repeat a certain phrase, even without thinking about it, this is an affirmation. At this moment, a person enters an altered state of consciousness and the information contained in words directly enters the brain, which recognizes it as a guide to certain actions. In this same state, our fantasies or desires are recognized by the brain as something that is already happening and exists in real life. By uttering certain repetitive phrases or imagining something constantly, we get exactly what we are talking about or thinking about.
If you think you don't use affirmations every day, you are wrong. But, unfortunately, very often our thoughts have a negative color. As a result of this, the events that you dream of are happening in life.
If you think all the time about the lack of money and worry about it, you will stop noticing that the thought is constantly present in your head: "There is no money." If someone close to you or a small child is ill, the thought arises: "He (she) is ill all the time, what to do, how to live on?" The same thing happens at work, when you work hard, but there is no result, and even get constant scolding from your superiors. The thought arises: "A terrible boss, a lot of work, nothing happens, why do I need all this?"
Seeing advertisements on TV or reading quotes from authors on the Internet, you, too, constantly spin in your head thoughts that affect the events of your life. Coming to the store and remembering the advertisement, you buy a product that you did not intend to purchase at all. And sometimes you remember the words of a popular song, starting to hum it, without even thinking about the meaning that it has. All of these are also affirmations that affect your life and the fulfillment of your desires. As a result, everyone gets what they think about.
Positive attitude: how to write and pronounce affirmations correctly
As you speak positive affirmations, you consciously begin to shape the events of your life. The main thing to learn is to keep track of your thoughts and diligently not to think about the negative. It will be difficult at first, because most of you are used to not noticing your own thoughts and not analyzing the incoming information. Of course, it will be difficult to completely get rid of feelings and negativity (and, alas, it is still not always possible), but you can and should strive for this.
If you say positive affirmations daily, then within a month you will see changes taking place in your life.
Affirmations should not contain the "not" particle. For example, instead of “I don’t want to get sick,” say “I’m healthy.” Although some modern psychologists and hypnologists insist that the human subconscious knows best what is what, and it is not embarrassed by the presence of the "not" particle. However, in the classical version, affirmations should not have a negative connotation.
Exclude "would" from sentences. Instead of: “I would like to work in a bank” say “I work in a bank”. Strive for the present tense in the settings, and not the past or the future. This will further stimulate the brain to perceive the affirmations as something already in existence.
The affirmation should only contain your desire, not what your friends, loved ones, or relatives want. Remember: desire must be true, conscious and not momentary.
All affirmation sentences must contain a minimum of words and be pronounced in the first person. Strive to be as specific as possible, do not jump from topic to topic.
Do affirmations only in a good mood, every day, giving them only a few minutes of your free time. You can speak out loud or silently, record them in audio format and then listen to them. You can do this in front of the mirror, as if you are talking to yourself.
Remember that everything new does not come immediately. After a while, you will be able to see for yourself that affirmations really help change your life for the better.
