Envy is a destructive feeling. She comes in different shades - black and white, different degrees of aggression. The manifestation of any kind of envy always shows what needs to be worked on.

Instructions

Step 1

Realize that you are jealous. Just admit it to yourself. Learn to notice every time how the feeling of envy comes to you and how it overtakes you. But not in order to scold yourself mercilessly, but in order to get rid of this feeling.

Step 2

Accept this feeling: "Yes, I envy." A person has various qualities, and which of them he displays at the moment depends on the situation and his life attitudes and "clamps" (let's call them problems). When you embrace the feeling of jealousy that has arisen at the moment, you will feel how it will become easier. You no longer waste your life force on resistance.

Step 3

Now work on the cause of the envy. To do this, take a piece of paper and a pen. Write down questions in sequence and answer them. When answering, listen to yourself.

Example: X's friend dreamed of leaving for Italy. It seemed unrealistic, but she believed in a dream and persistently studied Italian. A few years later, she happily married an Italian and left for Italy.

Formulate your envy. A friend achieved what she wanted, she stubbornly walked towards the goal. But I can't.

Now bring out the questions to yourself that follow from your envy. What do I want? Why do I want this? What am I doing for this? What am I not doing for this? What's stopping me?

Write questions and answer them until there is not a single unclear point. Envy helps you to live consciously.

Step 4

If envy borders on aggression, its roots can be very deep - in your childhood. They can disguise themselves so skillfully that when you get to them, you may be surprised. But you will understand the reason and it will become easier for you to act further.

Step 5

Deal with the causes of jealousy. If these are emotions that you have closed in yourself, experience them, accept them in yourself. Then, when you are absorbed in them, thank them for being with you and discard them. "Thank you for the development, now I have completely outlived you, I don't need you anymore." You can do this on the roof of a house, on a mountain, during meditation - wherever they can freely leave you.

Step 6

Jealousy makes your emotions uncontrollable and destructive. Do something that is emotionally stronger. It can be a sport, a book, a movie. Organize a meeting of good friends, take an exciting trip, do something extraordinary.
