Burnout syndrome is characteristic of people working in the human-to-human profession. Constant communication with people, experiencing other people's emotions, puts pressure on the human psyche.
There are some tips to follow to prevent burnout. The main thesis to remember: no one is immune from mistakes. A person cannot be perfect in all situations, so accept mistakes as important life experiences that will help you in the future.
You should not replay the situations of defeats in your head over and over again. Learn not to do this and it will become much easier for you. Take a break from work by watching a positive movie, taking a bath, or meeting friends.
Don't overwhelm yourself with unnecessary things. Noble motives to help a colleague at work can turn into the fact that you will not have time to do either yours or someone else's.
Don't take other people's troubles onto your shoulders. Let such professions as a social worker, psychologist, teacher and so on assume this, but be able to abstract in time. If you feel that you are taking a matter too close to your heart, then do not take it.
If you feel you are close to burnout, then reconsider your personal values. maybe you should change your activity (do paperwork or something creative).
Try not to hide emotions in yourself. As they say, even every psychologist should have his own psychologist. Gradually talk to loved ones about what worries you. Otherwise, the accumulated bundle of emotions can cause aggressive behavior, depression, or vice versa, complete exhaustion of feelings.
