Many people talk about the danger of stressful situations, but stress is a natural state of the body, it does not pose a threat. Problems arise when a person is constantly under stress and never relaxes. As a result, nervous tension builds up and becomes a threat to the physical and psychological health of a person.
Instructions
Step 1
Lock yourself in the room. Nothing should bother you now. Put on comfortable clothes, spread a blanket on the floor, place a small pillow, and lie on your back. Spread your legs slightly, place your hands along your torso, palms up.
Step 2
Close your eyes and begin to relax mentally. Think about every part of your body, tell yourself that your right hand is relaxed, then say the same about your left. Pay attention to each finger, elbow, and wrist. Do the same for the legs, back and neck. Thus, you will feel heaviness throughout the body and feel how tightly you are pressed against the floor.
Step 3
Repeat everything one more time, but now imagine that a stream of heavy air presses on you, which will not allow you to get up even if you want to. This flow should be felt evenly throughout the body.
Step 4
Then repeat the relaxation procedure again, but now feel the warmth. Tell yourself that your hands, feet, and whole body are warm.
Step 5
Imagine that you are in a forest or by the sea. Tell yourself that you are calm and relaxed. Lie like this for a while, but do not fall asleep. You should not have thoughts, you should remain conscious.
Step 6
After that, begin to kind of return to reality. Tell yourself that your body is filled with energy and vitality. Lie for a short while with your eyes closed, then get up slowly.
