Crime is a manifestation of deviant behavior. It has dire consequences both for society as a whole and for its individual members. A certain contingent of persons is involved in criminal activity, for whom crimes of laws are means of subsistence. 1. Limited needs and interests
People who do not want to develop, refuse the correct life arrangement, experience a state of "withdrawal" due to their own limitations. Such people do not fully interact with society, violate public order in various ways, and deviate from generally accepted behavior.
2. Distorted view of moral values
Often, criminals rethink their life experience, the social norms they had previously assimilated. Many of them have a subjective awareness of the compliance of their own behavior with legal norms. As a result, a person forms a distorted idea of his actions.
3. Lack of a sense of social responsibility
A person does not feel his own intrusion into social space, does not understand what damage he can cause to society. The sanctions that society takes against criminals are perceived negatively by them. Some criminals openly complain about public comment.
4. Instability of the psychological organization
Behavior that violates laws and social norms is based on a different value system, different from that enshrined in law. Deformation of the personality is a consequence of its incorrect development.
5. Lack of self-control
There is practically no internal control for criminals. They have a subjective awareness of their own behavior. Consequently, criminals are not able to independently regulate their behavior, which leads to illegal actions emanating from them.
