And for a preliminary mental check of judgments, time is needed, therefore, at the moment of a conversation, a person pauses before answering, and in general, during a conversation, he tries more to learn something new for himself than to convince the interlocutor of something.

Some people believe that they have nothing to learn, they are confident in the correctness of their opinions and are indignant when they dare to object. Such people always continue to develop their thoughts, without trying to understand the opponent, interrupt him. This indicates a lack of solid logic and the pursuit of it.

To learn to speak less, it is necessary to think over your thoughts, that is, to be silent for a while. The more a person talks, the less he thinks and vice versa. The more information a person has, the more time it takes to generalize it. A constantly speaking person gradually unlearns how to think.

Imagine your belly as a soft ball, it should expand as you inhale. The inhalation should continue for 3 seconds, count them. Hold your breath a little, but do not strain, then exhale, making a continuous humming sound without sucking in your stomach. The mouth should not be opened in this case. Such preparation does not bring discomfort, practice is the key to success. Practice as often as possible and gradually replace the humming sound with any other words.

During a conversation, try not to splash out the flow of speech and not jump out of it, try to relax and calm down. Of course, it is not so easy to immediately become more alert and not say too much. Gradually, this problem will be solved if you try.
