We complain all the time about the lack of time. This is especially acutely felt by residents of large cities. But have you ever thought that maybe we just do not know how to properly spend it? Let's try to figure out what time is?
Time is divided into conventional units. A person who studied the laws of nature and the cyclical nature of its phenomena, such as the change of day and night, the seasons, the phase of the moon visible from the earth, created conventional units of measurement. So there was a day divided into hours, an hour divided into minutes, a minute not seconds. A week also appeared, a month, a decade, a quarter, a year, a century, etc. appeared.
And it just so happened, but with the help of these universal units we measure everything. We measure the time spent at work, the duration of sleep, rest, vacation, vacation, food, exercise in the gym, etc. Life itself is divided into these time periods. We know how many people should be in kindergarten, how many in school, institute, how much they should work, when to retire, and even when approximately to die. It turns out that man himself created this pattern and himself became its slave.
The system determines everything - the time spent at work, on the road, at lunch. Time of arrival of the train, plane, electric train. Time to arrival, average travel time, average time, in traffic jams, elevator, brushing teeth, washing dishes, etc. All life is just numbers! We know the average static computation of everything in the world. We even know the average duration of sex. Average time of movies and music tracks. Average time spent reading books! Each person by the system of average static measurements descends to the level of banal numbers. Almost nothing remains of individuality - each is just an arithmetic mean of an electronic computer!
But this knowledge is no easier for us, no worse. We can of course throw the clock out the window, reset the clock in the phone, in the computer, on the microwave, in the refrigerator, in the car. But even if we do not pay attention to time records on receipts, on parking tickets, on clocks on rooftops, on TV screens, our life will turn into chaos. We will not be able to work, we will not meet with those with whom we have agreed, we will not be able to catch the plane to the warm sea and will lose money. In general, we absolutely will not be able to interact in society.
Time goes on its unforgiving path. It cannot be stopped, it cannot be accelerated. Time lives in parallel with us - we either adjust to it or are always late for it - we try to catch up. Time is something that does not depend on us - we depend on it. No matter what we do, no matter how hard we try, we can't run away from time to time. It remains only to adapt to it. Or in other words, take control of time.
Taking control of time means using these conventional units for absolute control of your conventionally designated being. This means using time for your specific goals.
Do you know that thirty minutes a day can make you a millionaire? Or will ten minutes a day make you the most irresistible woman? Or the most confident man? Or in thirty minutes a day you will go to the harmony of your inner world?
But the matter is very simple and it starts small. First, by using a watch and an alarm clock, teach yourself to get up and go to bed at the same time. Or if it’s still difficult, set aside fifteen minutes every morning to clean the apartment.
Fifteen minutes, no more, no less - mark fifteen minutes on the clock and set a goal - for example, to wash the floors. Ok, the next day the goal is to clean the bathtub to a shine. The next day, wash the refrigerator, or wash the kitchen window, or clean the carpet, or wash the dishes. In two weeks your apartment will shine and sparkle! When you no longer know what to do, go through all the things in the linen closet, or sort and discard your old shoes. Thus, in fifteen minutes a day in a month, your apartment, your house will turn into a clean well-groomed nest, in which new thoughts of inspiration and ideas will come by themselves.
And so, with everything else - choose a goal, then what you were given to do, but you did not find the time. Five minutes a day at exactly nine in the morning for meditation - please! Now you are getting closer and closer to the center of your being for five minutes a day. Ten minutes a day to reveal the female essence - please - at ten minutes past eight, a passionate dance to your favorite music dedicated to your ideal. You want to become rich - please - thirty minutes a day to control income and expenses, view stock quotes, view new investments, open a new business, introduce new development technologies.
Set aside half an hour a day to be creative. Half an hour for something that you have long wanted to do, but you never found the time. Exactly thirty minutes without being distracted by anything. Regulate your personal time in front of your family so that no one bothers you, and calmly do what you have wanted to do for a very long time. Drawing, embroidery, modeling. You will see that half an hour will not be enough, but do not be zealous - put off until tomorrow and see how every day you will strive to get closer to this long-awaited "half hour" in order to continue your creative project.
So, something great grows from small things. Either it is postponed "for tomorrow" all my life, and gathers dust in old suitcases, or it starts tomorrow with "five minutes" and never ends.
In the end, the time taken under control does not conventionally designate us, or categorically shows us the framework for the development of being, and the person himself, using the framework of limited time, expands his potential to infinity. And if he grows spiritually, life itself goes beyond time and continues, endlessly using the curvature of time and space to expand the boundaries of consciousness and spheres of influence on life itself and what goes beyond life.
