The best friend is your support and support in any life situations. Therefore, a quarrel with her knocks out the ground under your feet: your mood spoils, and you cannot calm down until the long-awaited reconciliation occurs, for the onset of which you need to make efforts.
Instructions
Step 1
Analyze the quarrel and try to understand what caused the quarrel. If the reason is trivial, for example, you or she was in a bad mood due to problems at work, and the accumulated negativity hit your best friend, then you will easily make up in a couple of days. The situation is more complicated in the case when you disagreed, quarreled strongly or quarreled over a man - you will have to try to settle the contradictions, and this may take more than one week.
Step 2
Give each other time to cool off after an argument. When you're both emotional, trying to reconcile can lead to an even greater quarrel, so leave your friend alone so that she and you can think about an unpleasant incident, understand your guilt and realize that you want to continue the friendship. But do not delay - do not wait for the first step from her, do it yourself, otherwise the quarrel may drag on for a long time. Do not focus on who is right, because if you love her, then guilt should not be the determining factor.
Step 3
Call, send an SMS message, write to an email address or on a social network 2-3 days after an easy quarrel. Both of you will calm down by then and want to resume the relationship, so it won't matter who first says "I'm sorry." If you can drop in for a visit, then this is the best option, because the joy of reconciliation in a personal meeting will be much stronger than over the phone and, even more so, over the Internet or SMS.
Step 4
Ask for forgiveness if you are to blame for a serious spat. Find the right words to convince your friend of her sincere remorse and desire to make peace. Explain why you did the wrong thing, show that you know your guilt, and reassure your best friend that you will never make the same mistake. It is better to talk in person, 7-10 days after the quarrel. If a friend sees that you really understood your wrong actions, then she will gladly go to reconciliation, because you are her dear person.
Step 5
If your best friend is to blame for a strong quarrel, then act according to the situation: it is logical to assume that she should apologize, and you can wait until she wants to make up. But you know your friend better than anyone else, so if you understand that pride will not allow her to take the first step, then make contact yourself, because your relationship with her is dear to you, and even anger does not prevent you from thinking about your best friend, realizing that she simply cannot step over himself.
