Step 1
It should be borne in mind that as a result of upbringing, men often restrain their emotions and feelings. And, perhaps, the only emotion that they can show without hiding from others is rage. But this should not become a criterion for evaluating a man's character.
Step 2
There are five factors - the "big five" - by which the main character traits of a person are determined. These basic personality parameters are as follows: extraversion, benevolence, consciousness, neuroticism (emotional instability), openness to experience. To determine the character of a man by these parameters, you need to answer the questions - whether he is an extrovert or an introvert, whether he is benevolent or rather not, conscious or irresponsible, emotionally stable or unstable, smart or not very smart. Typically, these five parameters are able to tell almost everything that others would like to know about a particular person.
Step 3
To correctly determine the parameters of the "Big Five", you can use various everyday situations. For example, a man who is very careful while driving a car can be rated highly on the factor of conscientiousness. A high assessment of conscientiousness means, among other things, conscientiousness, hard work, organization, punctuality. A low assessment of conscientiousness is negligence, laziness, disorganization, and lack of punctuality.
Step 4
Trying to assess the behavior of a man and determine his character, you need to take into account how the external situation affects one or another character trait. So, a man will behave differently in church, at work, at a party and at a football match. However, if at a party a man is more calm than other representatives of the stronger sex, then, apparently, he will behave similarly in other situations.
