If work has turned into a grueling hard labor, communication does not bring joy, and your whole life resembles an endless struggle for survival, if efforts do not bring the desired results - perhaps you simply could not understand what your true purpose is and live in accordance with it.
A person who has comprehended what he lives for, who is engaged in a business that he loves, feels his need and significance. He is fulfilling his mission and that makes him happy. Someone will say that finding your destination is not easy, almost impossible. Do not believe it. There are techniques that allow you to realize what is worth doing in life, what to devote yourself to.
For each of them, find an opportunity to spend at least a couple of hours alone. Turn off your phone, make sure that no one distracts you during this period. The techniques are simple, but require full concentration on their implementation.
One way is as follows: on a piece of paper, write the question "What is my true purpose in life?", Below write down the answers that come to your mind. You can formulate them in short phrases. Work until one of the options evokes a strong emotional response in your soul. You may be able to complete the exercise in a few minutes, perhaps in a few hours. But the insight will surely come.
Usually, people need to formulate about a hundred answers in order to finally find their true purpose.
If in the process of working on an exercise you want to stop it and do something else, do not give in. Sit for a couple of minutes with your eyes closed, relax, try not to think about anything, and then start again with the task. Perhaps some of the options will cause a weak response in you. Highlight such responses and come back to them later. Most likely, they reflect part of your purpose, but do not fully reveal it. You can reread them - this will make your subconscious move in the right direction. Sooner or later, you will definitely formulate a thought that turns out to be the only correct one - you will immediately feel it.
Another exercise that will help you understand your true purpose will require a certain flight of imagination. Imagine that you are an almighty great magician, whose every desire is easily fulfilled. You have everything you could want, you do not experience any material or everyday difficulties. Try to imagine how your day would go, what would you do, what goals would you use your power for? Write down all your thoughts on this matter - and get an answer to the question of what you should live for.
You can refer to childhood experiences. Remember what you liked to do when you were a child, what you wanted to become, what you dreamed of. Try to imagine that your wishes have come true. If you feel comfortable and you like to feel yourself in this role - you can say that you have found your purpose.
If the feeling of satisfaction has not arisen - try to imagine yourself in a different capacity.
You will need 3 days to complete the next exercise, but you can do it without being distracted from your daily worries. On the first day, consider answering the questions “What do I enjoy doing? What would I like to do? Write down as many answers as you can and go back to your normal business, but keep returning to the questions over and over throughout the day. As you have new ideas, write them down on the same piece of paper.
The next day, work in exactly the same way with the questions “What can I do well? What am I really good at? What talents and abilities do I have? " On the third day, ponder the question, "How could I benefit people?"After the task is completed, take all three sheets of notes and find matches in your answers. It is they who will indicate your purpose.
And finally, you can ask your own subconscious mind to give you the answer to this important question. Over and over again for some time (sometimes quite long), imagine that you are doing what you love, that you are satisfied with your life, you are happy and satisfied. In the end, the subconscious mind will tell you exactly what your mission is.
