Jealousy has existed at all times, just if earlier because of it they fought in duels or poured poison into food, now it is not customary to demonstrate it.

In general, jealousy can have two reasons. First, it is the fear of losing someone you love. And secondly - an excessive sense of ownership, when one person considers himself so important and significant that his partner becomes his property, without the right to have his own opinion or desires.

Like any other psychological problem, jealousy is a feeling that came to us from childhood. This is a model of behavior learned by a child in the process of education. If there are several children in the family, then there is no doubt that they will compete with each other, and as a result, show a feeling of jealousy. If parents give such children enough love and attention, then they will outgrow this state without problems. Another situation is when parents are overprotective, violate the child's personal space, interfering with his personal life. Then the child transfers such a model of behavior to his family, and also violates the personal space of his spouse, depriving him of his freedom.

Do not think that jealousy is a manifestation of love. Love is, first of all, respect for the interests of a partner, and not eternal suspicion, distrust and scandalous scenes of jealousy. Some people find it helpful to give reasons for jealousy from time to time. They think that this is how they can attract the attention of their partner. But this is fundamentally wrong, because in this way, you will undermine trust, and the relationship will become a burden, your partner will constantly try to catch you in a lie, look for deception everywhere. Some people just can't deal with their feelings of jealousy. If you are jealous of everything, try the opposite: surround your partner with care so that he himself begins to look for a way to take a break from you. Sometimes it happens that jealousy is a defensive reaction when a jealous person himself cheats, even if mentally. Thus, he tries to justify his actions and thoughts.

The secret of family happiness is the observance of personal space combined with joint leisure.
