Kissing is one of the best parts of any good relationship. It doesn't matter if you kiss your loved one on the lips or your friend on the cheek, the mechanism is similar in both cases.
Kissing or rubbing your noses?
Nowadays, people kiss because they have been trained to do it, that is, they have been shown how to do it many times. However, this happens in a similar way only in European civilization (which has "captured" the whole world), in less Europeanized places, instead of kissing, people rub their noses or inhale the smell of each other's necks. However, the logic of these actions is the same as in the kissing situation.
You can learn to kiss on salted tomatoes or tangerine slices. In the process of learning, however, it would be good to imagine a dear person.
First of all, a kiss is an act of trust. After all, the human face is the most guarded part of the body. In a dangerous or unpleasant situation, we cover our face with our hands, this attitude is quite understandable, it contains organs important for life. Therefore, if a person lets another person into the face (and closes his eyes during a romantic kiss, becoming defenseless), this indicates a large degree of trust. Substituting his cheek for a kiss, one person metaphorically says to the other, "I am open to you, I believe that you will not hit." That is why formal "secular" kisses look rather strange, because very often their participants do not have warm feelings for each other.
What is a man's tongue and lips for?
The significance of the tongue and lips as erogenous zones simply cannot be exaggerated. During good and correct stimulation of the lips or tongue, the sexual instincts awaken in a person. Any kiss brings the bodies of partners closer together, allowing the hands to stroke and hug them.
Apparently, kisses many thousands of years ago were simple … sniffing. After all, the smell of a person is perceived by the brain as a genetic and biochemical passport. Of course, people consciously evaluate the smell solely from the standpoint of like and dislike. But subconsciously manages to "count" and "recognize" all the important information. Some scientists believe that even now women subconsciously choose men by smell, since it is he who provides them with the most complete information.
The most attractive and sexually active people find kissing a very important part of any, even short-term relationship.
Most likely, sniffing was primary, then it turned into some kind of kissing. It doesn't matter whether our ancestors rubbed their noses or cheeks, or purposefully smelled each other's hair, the main thing is that as a result, a tradition has emerged to express their good feelings and intentions in such a pleasant way.
