We always notice other people's shortcomings, and ours almost never. Everyday bustle, everyday life and unloved work turn our life into slavery. But is it really so or is it just our prejudices? But everyone can answer this question for himself. In this article I want to share my experience on how to make your life happier.
As much as we would like to bypass difficulties, they are inevitable. And this is a fact that you just need to come to terms with. After all, what matters here is not what they are, but how we treat them. Two very well-known labels immediately come to mind, which we used to hang up with everyone: "optimist" and "pessimist". Without going into the details of these terms, I will say that your attitude to the world is, first of all, the inner state of your soul. Our environment plays an important role in this. And the foundation is laid from childhood.
The easiest way is to blame someone for your troubles. Thus, we justify ourselves, and it seems to be easier to live. Only the problem is not solved, but settles somewhere deep inside us. But if you look in more detail, you can understand that the problem is just a confluence of circumstances, albeit not the most pleasant, but in most cases beyond our control.
There is a wonderful Japanese wisdom on this subject: "If a problem can be solved, then there is no need to worry about it; if it cannot be solved, then it is useless to worry about it." As a rule, almost everyone agrees with this statement, only a few use it in practice. Therefore, the first rule for a happy person is to learn how to calmly accept different circumstances in your life. Of course, you cannot do without emotions. And in general, for 70% of people it seems unrealistic. But this is nothing more than another excuse for ourselves. It's just that everyone needs a different time to learn self-control.
Our second problem has to do with herd instinct. Because living in a society, we try to be "like everyone else." It is very convenient and safe in our opinion. But is it really so? I think no. After all, every person is an individual. It's just that we are accustomed to living in the system from the very birth, following the long-established foundations of life. Since going beyond the framework, we first of all encounter criticism. And we perceive it as something terrible. We stop showing ourselves, go to the dream, return to the usual. And here again, a lot depends on our environment. Because what kind of environment, such is the framework. You cannot be afraid of criticism and misunderstanding from the side of society. We live our lives and write our history. Therefore, the second rule of a happy person is to learn to hear what you are told, to draw conclusions but not to depend on someone else's opinion.
Each person is capable of many things. Sometimes we cannot imagine how limitless our possibilities can be. Therefore, you need to stop justifying yourself, learn to control your emotions and not be afraid to get out of the crowd.
