It has long been noticed that a lack of clarity in thoughts leads to a decrease in efficiency and disorder around a person: not knowing what to do at the beginning, he tries to do everything at the same time, in the end, not having time to do anything. Getting rid of clutter is possible only with an integrated approach.

Instructions

Step 1

Take it easy. For two minutes, don't think about anything at all and don't do anything. You can extend this period of complete inactivity, but not necessarily. The main thing is to get rid of all thoughts, both necessary and unnecessary, at once. Close your eyes so that visual impressions do not distract you. It will be even better if the place where you are is isolated from all sounds, pleasant and unpleasant.

Repeat this exercise, clearing your head of all thoughts at once, every time there are too many of them. Calm down and regaining your balance, move on to the next step.

Step 2

Take a notebook and pen. Remember all the things you need to do, write them down. Then arrange them on several lists: important and urgent, important and non-urgent, unimportant, possible. Evaluate things objectively, do not put in the first column what can be done later, postponed.

Step 3

Break the first important task into several stages. Proceed with this task, stage by stage. Don't think about anything else until you've done the first thing on the list. Then, in the same way, break into stages and do the rest of the business, without being distracted by anything else. Spend your energy on completing only one case, give up everything that is secondary and unnecessary. Be attentive and focused.

Step 4

Take a look around, pay special attention to your workplace. Will all the things on it be useful to you in your work? Are all the things that come in handy at arm's length? Just like you emptied your head recently, now take everything out of the table. Then throw out the garbage, put the extra things in their places, leave the necessary ones in such an order so that often used tools are nearby, rarely used - at a distance. Always keep this order in work, do not be lazy to immediately remove the used item in its place.
