The connection between the environment of a person and the inner state has long been noticed. But what comes first, order in thoughts or order in the workplace, is not yet clear. Practice shows that these two aspects always appear together, which means that it is impossible to sort out thoughts if chaos reigns around you.

Instructions

Step 1

Start with the outside. Perform a general cleaning of the room, starting with getting rid of everything unnecessary and interfering. Choose from things that you will not use, even if these items are dear to you as a memory or you plan to "attach them somewhere". If possible, hand out the excess to family and friends. Throw out the rest without regrets.

Step 2

Arrange things on shelves and drawers. Let them be in such order that the most used ones are at arm's length from the workplace or closer. Put what you use less often away. After use, train yourself not to leave objects anywhere, but to put them in the same places that are now allocated to them.

All these preparations may seem meaningless and have nothing to do with the main task, but listen to yourself at the end of this stage: your thoughts will clear up a little only when you look at the updated room.

Step 3

Start a day planner. Write each thought on a separate sheet (or through the sheet), and under the main thought - all related ideas related to the completion of the main business. Try to arrange ideas in chronological order. If you have to cross out and correct a lot over time, keep an electronic diary - it allows you to keep the clarity of a specific thought and move individual pieces of text without losing clarity. At the same time, you can make corrections after a while.

Step 4

Relax more often. A person is used to conducting a constant internal dialogue, but this is not always normal. Relax your whole body and mind from time to time, focus on your hearing, breathing, vision, the world around you and your place in it. Do not chase all the time for some goals, give yourself a rest, especially your brain. Conduct such trainings once a day, for about 10-30 minutes, depending on the initial training. During relaxation, refuse to think about any, even the most important matters. Time will pass - and you will return to working condition, take up work with renewed vigor.
