Fears are natural. But the fact that they prevent us from living to the fullest can be a real problem. Almost all of our fears are unnecessary, unfounded, holding you back from achieving something important.
Instructions
Step 1
First you need to acknowledge your fears. This is the most serious step. Each of us has fears, but they hide somewhere in the depths of our consciousness, often unnoticed, as we try to ignore them or pretend that they do not exist. But they are, and they affect you every day for life.
Step 2
If you cannot get rid of the painful thoughts that are sowing fear in you in any way, then imagine that this thought overcoming you is a huge switch. Reach for it and pull it down sharply! Everything. Silence. You knocked out this thought.
Fear is inherently destructive. If you catch yourself that a negative thought has appeared that inspires fear, immediately occupy your mind with a new toy, be it a switch or something else. The mind will be distracted, fear will not develop into panic, and thoughts will not attract events you do not need.
Step 3
At the physical level, the main manifestations of fear are sweating, palpitations, and shortness of breath. Your first aid is breathing normalization technique. Collect all the fear and exhale it noisily until it is completely empty in your chest. Support the exhalation with visual images (dark spots, puffs of smoke), and the inhalation with light images of yourself - strong and successful. Breathe out the weakness, breathe in the strength.
Step 4
Turn excitement into drive. Start doing what scares you. You will learn to take pleasure in overcoming your fears, and this will open the way for you to self-realization.
For example, are you afraid of public speaking? Then speak wherever possible: make a speech, make toasts, and soon you will be amazed to discover that you are a born orator.
It must always be remembered that courage is perfectly trained cowardice. It is unlikely that you could reveal your new talent without overcoming your inner fear. And now you can rightfully be proud of yourself!
