People who can easily attract others to themselves and lead them always arouse our admiration. It has long been known that not everyone can be born a leader. Therefore, when it comes to a person who is able to influence those around him, inspire them with respect and delight, we always say the same thing: this is natural charisma, a person was just lucky to be born with such qualities. But is it really so? Is it possible to purposefully develop charisma in oneself?
Instructions
Step 1
Psychologists and corporate trainers argue that charisma is not a gift from the gods, as the ancient Greeks believed, but a set of very specific personal qualities. Of course, we must take into account that psychologically and physically people are not equal to each other. Not everyone from birth is given pronounced leadership qualities or the ability to influence others with their charm. However, constant hard work on your personality allows you to achieve good results and develop to the maximum even the most modest natural data.
Step 2
In order to develop charisma in yourself, you must first of all clearly understand what it is. What is the basis of a person's ability to lead and manage the masses. Paradoxically, personality charisma always rests on three main "pillars": self-confidence, great self-esteem and the ability to take initiative.
Step 3
As psychologists note, charisma is, first of all, self-confidence. Confidence in their own self-worth and the ability to achieve their goals. In practice, many people live their lives without full confidence in their abilities. Of course, a different position is usually declared out loud, but inside themselves, in their consciousness, people tend to doubt. In order to develop self-confidence, it is necessary to work on this purposefully. Each goal achieved strengthens our confidence, each failure throws us back to weakness. Make it a rule to set small, practical goals every day and achieve them. In this case, it is especially important to record the result obtained. You can keep a special diary or diary in which to write down all your victories. Even if at first they will be very small, it does not matter. The main thing is that the goal was set, formulated and achieved. For global, seemingly difficult to achieve goals, one trick can be used: to break the process of achieving the goal into a number of stages, each of which will be crowned with a certain intermediate goal and consistently overcome them.
Step 4
Self-esteem is the second essential component of a truly charismatic personality. Before expecting love and respect from others, you need to learn to like and respect yourself. Low self-esteem often makes one think that a person does not seem to have any merits and positive qualities. But this is completely wrong - everyone has dignity, it is only important to see them and start developing them. In order to strengthen your self-esteem, you must strive to perform only those actions that do not contradict the personal value system. The ethics of individual behavior creates a solid foundation for self-esteem.
Step 5
Being a charismatic person means being a leader, that is, not being afraid to take the initiative and take responsibility for your actions. Often we do not dare to commit any act or express our opinion for fear of making a mistake and being criticized. It is not right. There are no ideal, infallible people in the world. Everyone has the right to make a mistake, so there is no need to be afraid to seem wrong or wrong to someone. Only you are responsible for your decisions and you know better why you acted in one way or another. As you know, only the one who does nothing is not mistaken. But you want to be a leader, therefore, you must learn to act.
