The world around us dictates its own rules. An endless stream of information, a large number of contacts, a hard work schedule become the reasons for depression, breakdowns, anxiety. It becomes more and more difficult to be balanced, because it means not to succumb to provocations, to remain adequate, to keep your emotions under control. All you need to do is memorize a few simple exercises.
Instructions
Step 1
Control your breathing. Breathe deeply and evenly. This will help you stay relaxed. If something or someone is trying to piss you off, take a deep breath and exhale to deal with the anger.
Step 2
Don't get hung up on other people's opinions and comments about you, especially if they are unpleasant. If someone is trying to make you angry, turn a deaf ear to this negative criticism. Get distracted and switch to any interesting activity that is worth your effort and your attention.
Step 3
Respect yourself. This means that you will be respected by others. If you are confident that you are a unique and interesting person (which you really are), then you can achieve a decent attitude towards yourself. And, as a result, inner poise and equanimity.
Step 4
Focus on the things that interest you. Don't take your own mistakes to heart. Try to avoid wasting your energy on what you do not want to do, this can be a reason for frustration and anger.
Step 5
Don't show your emotions. They can greatly interfere and deliver unpleasant moments. Showing emotion means exposing your weaknesses. And this is a direct target for hitting the patient himself.
Step 6
Do a good deed. Take care of abandoned animals, do charity work, help the poor. The joy and sincere gratitude of others will bring satisfaction and inner harmony.
