Anyone, even the bravest person, is afraid of something. Fears make you feel helpless in front of them. The desire to come to terms with this state of affairs is the simplest, but ineffective solution. It is much more difficult to enter into a fight with fear and emerge victorious. But it's worth it.
Instructions
Step 1
Face fear. It is important here to separate the real threat from the contrived one. So, if you are afraid of heights, you should not jump with a parachute or climb on roofs, because it is unsafe. But if you panic before public introductions, step over your own modesty, and carefully prepare your speech, be it a working report or a response at a seminar. Probably, such a fear of testing will not be so frightening.
Step 2
Sometimes it is enough to familiarize yourself with the information regarding the subject of your fears to understand that there is no reason for them. For example, you are afraid of spider bites. Read the relevant literature, find out which of them are poisonous, where they live, whether they threaten a person and how to protect yourself from such troubles.
Step 3
Include logic. Analyze your fear, imagine different options for events that cause anxiety. Think about your possible behavior in such situations.
Step 4
Consider if there is any reason for concern. Maybe this fear is unfounded, and you yourself will come to understand this. Fear can also be caused by mental disorders, neuroses. If you cannot cope on your own, you should seek the advice of a psychotherapist.
