Depression is the most popular disease today. She suffered such talented people as Beethoven, Van Gogh, Hugo. Thanks to the blues, masterpieces of world classics and painting were created. But, you see, there is still little pleasant in it.
Instructions
Step 1
First of all, get off the couch, turn off the TV and go for a walk. Whatever the weather. Avoid sitting at home, moving, cycling, or exercising. Have you ever seen a sad athlete? It is enough to devote 30 minutes to aerobics a couple of times a week, and the melancholy will disappear forever.
Step 2
Review your own diet. Sometimes a banal lack of carbohydrates can be the cause of fatigue and depression. So if you're on a diet and can't afford sweets, include more whole grains, legumes, vegetables and fruits in your menu.
Step 3
If you are a coffee fan, keep in mind that caffeine lowers the production of the hormone responsible for your mood, serotonin. The same can be said for Coca-Cola.
Step 4
Keep a diary. Scientists have found that by writing down their thoughts on paper, a person thereby improves the psychological state.
Step 5
And most importantly, there is no need to strive for perfection. Often times, the blues are caused by failures at work, harsh criticism from bosses, or family problems. Tell yourself, "I will try and I will succeed," and keep moving forward with this attitude.
