Getting used to a new job is sometimes not as easy as it seems at first glance. Someone immediately joins the team and lives with it on the same wavelength, while someone has to spend a lot of time and effort to get along with colleagues. Most often, difficulties arise for women in a purely female team. To avoid problems, you need to follow simple instructions.
Instructions
Step 1
Whatever situation you find yourself in, do not let yourself be dragged into a scandal. Be always friendly and open with everyone, but do not take sides. If you do not get involved in intrigues, they will affect you less. At work, try to work, make time for work issues and conversations, and don't be trapped by friendships by supporting one of the warring parties.
Step 2
Forget frankness in your workplace. Do not devote the work collective to your everyday problems and do not talk about personal ones. The topic is not important, but try not to mention health, family and relationships in it, religion and your political views. Try to bypass personal topics.
Step 3
Try to do your job yourself. Do not often take sick leave for yourself or your child, if you have one. Your work, if you do not cope with it, falls on the shoulders of your colleagues. The more such work, the more dissatisfaction in your direction. As a last resort, discuss with your superiors that when you are sick, you can work remotely from home.
Step 4
Try not to show your superiority. It's one thing when you show your boss how well you are doing a job, and quite another when you show your clear superiority to your colleagues. This applies not only to work moments. Don't show that you are more successful in marriage or better off financially. Often, single mothers or those who have not had time to get married and divorced work in women's groups, do not create an inferiority complex in colleagues, showing that you are better.
Step 5
Be friendly to all your colleagues. Inquire about how they spent the weekend or went to the movies. Interest should be genuine, falseness is always felt. Find a topic that you can talk about with ease and communicate in a friendly manner. Empathize with your colleagues and support them when needed.
Step 6
Be responsible and forward-looking. Try to keep your word and fulfill all the responsibilities you have entrusted, both work and personal. If you make a promise to someone at work, try to keep it.
Step 7
Keep your emotions in check. Nobody likes a violent manifestation of emotions, especially negative ones. Try to hold back in the team. Don't get hysterical and panic. If you are brought up and called for an unpleasant conversation, try to immediately interrupt such a person and not allow them anymore. Show right away that you do not like this attitude and you do not accept it. Well, if negative emotions are too often raging in the team and the bosses ignore such situations, take pity on yourself and look for a more comfortable place.
