Instructions

Step 1

According to numerous explanatory dictionaries, euphoria is an unexplained high mood, a feeling of satisfaction or pleasure. Moreover, this state is not confirmed by objective reasons. The person seems to be calm and happy with absolutely everything that is happening around. He stops actively moving or working hard - euphoria seems to take possession of his mind. But he cannot explain what caused such a wonderful state.

Step 2

Feelings of bliss and quiet joy come, as a rule, too quickly and last for a huge amount of time. That is why many medical professionals argue that euphoria is an unhealthy manifestation of the human psyche. However, in the case when joy is confirmed by good news, a feeling of falling in love, pride in one's own successes, euphoria is recognized as quite adequate behavior of the brain to release adrenaline or positive hormones of happiness into the bloodstream, called endorphins in practice.

Step 3

There are situations when euphoria is artificially induced. Many researchers agree that a person who has taken a narcotic substance, some powerful drugs, or a huge dose of alcohol can experience a feeling comparable to real euphoria. The brain, affected by toxic substances, begins to artificially produce endorphins - a person falls into a calm and even peaceful state. A similar effect can be achieved after excessive physical exertion, severe psychological trauma, stress, or a serious illness. Not at the right time, the revealed and diagnosed euphoria in these cases threatens with incurable mental disorders. In addition, artificially created euphoria can lead to such a state as lethargic sleep, or imaginary death.

Step 4

Thus, ecstasy or euphoria, characterized by natural causes, is pleasant and beneficial for a person. It gives strength for new achievements and the conquest of the next peaks. At the same time, artificial euphoria, which is the object of psychiatric research, is a serious threat to the patient's health and life.
