The quality of life is a somewhat broader concept than the standard of living. It includes many different factors. The World Health Organization studies the quality of life in different parts of the world and proposes to classify factors into 6 main groups.
Instructions
Step 1
Improve the physical quality of life. Take at least 8 hours a day to sleep, get more rest, try to avoid stressful situations. Balance your diet, exercise, and, if necessary, see a doctor on time.
Step 2
Pay attention to psychological factors. Try to avoid negative emotions. Do self-improvement, develop memory and thinking. Try to improve your cultural level - read more books, visit museums and exhibitions, go to the theater, listen to music. Train your concentration.
Step 3
Try to be independent of your circumstances. The level of independence is another important factor in assessing the quality of life. This includes all types of addictions, including work, bad habits, drugs and treatment.
Step 4
Get involved in improving your sense of self in society. Build personal relationships. Try to occupy a niche in society that is close to you. Do not push romantic and sexual relationships into the background, because they are also an important component of the quality of life. Avoid conflicts.
Step 5
Watch the environment in which you exist. Perhaps this factor is least of all dependent on human desire. This includes the ecology, and the political environment, and the level of education and medicine. This also includes the economic situation and the availability of information. If these parameters do not suit you, then the only way out is to change your place of residence to a more prosperous one.
Step 6
Engage in spiritual development. Form personal beliefs, find what makes you spiritually enrich and develop. It can be religion, teaching, art, etc.
Step 7
In the end, you can just move to Ireland. According to the Economist Intelligence Unit for 2005, the highest level of quality of life is in this country.
