Many experts are sure that poverty or misery is inherent in a person from early childhood. And there is a lot of evidence of this in the personal stories of those who seek advice from a psychologist. The words "trouble" and "poverty" have the same root, so it is worth thinking about why a person constantly attracts trouble to himself and condemns himself to poverty or misery.

Psychological causes of poverty and poverty
Psychological causes of poverty and poverty

Poverty, poverty, like wealth, is, first of all, an inner conviction that a person deserves exactly the kind of life he is living now. Such beliefs are dictated by our mind programmed since childhood, which means wealth and poverty are just a state of the human mind and thoughts in the head.

From birth, a person literally absorbs the information of the environment and environment in which he constantly lives or is for a long time. Regardless of whether the environment is bad or good, our subconscious mind absorbs everything that happens for life.

When a child is born, he is an individual with his own unique character, but gradually the influence of parents, kindergarten, school, friends begins to form certain beliefs and ideas about the world around him. If a child is surrounded by poverty from early childhood and all the habits of a poor person are instilled in him, then there is a great chance that, as an adult, he will not be able to escape from poverty and will remain in the world that was shaped by the environment and parents.

There are only a few main reasons why a person becomes hostage to genetic poverty and poverty.

Environment

In a family where the apartment was never even allowed to change the environment, rearrange furniture or buy at least something new, did not pay attention to cleaning, maintaining order and cleanliness, the child will be brought up in limiting beliefs. He will be convinced that he is not worthy of anything else, and even if he starts to work day and night, this will not lead to the fact that something will change in his environment.

A dirty uncleaned room, constant collapse in the apartment will not create conditions for changing something not only in material space, but also in thoughts. And if even in his thoughts a person does not admit that he can get rid of dirt and poverty, then all his actions will be aimed only at surviving in the conditions in which he is.

Unwillingness to spend money on yourself

The belief that a person cannot spend an extra penny on himself is also formed from childhood. If the child was always limited in everything, they did not buy good, new things or toys, referring to the fact that there is no money in the family, then the phrase "no money" will forever remain in the child's head and gradually he will stop taking care of himself and even ask for some something trifle.

Having become an adult, such a person no longer expects anything and does not even try to become happy. Buying clothes once and for life, as his parents or grandparents did, perhaps, he will never spend an extra penny on himself, trying to save on everything, for only one reason: “no money”. This belief has a lot to do with genetic misery and poverty.

Limit yourself in everything

Perhaps some still remember the times (and someone still lives in them) when people bought something for future use or "just in case." A lot of unnecessary things could accumulate in apartments, which it is a pity to throw away, and nowhere to use.

It is believed that the worldview of the majority of Soviet people corresponded to the view of the poor or the beggar. It was impossible or forbidden to buy a lot, so people brought up in those days can still maintain this vision and limit themselves in everything, thereby attracting poverty, not wealth.

Poverty programming

For some people, spending money on themselves is one of their inherent fears. If the child was constantly denied something, then at first he was offended, and then he got used to the fact that he was generally unworthy of anything new and he was not entitled to any gifts. Further, the child ceases to believe that he can change something in his life and does not even seek to reveal his potential and believe in his capabilities. A person programmed for poverty cannot independently break out of the vicious circle and begin to act.

It is worth remembering that no one is to blame for the fact that a person is in distress or begging. Although he will always find a bunch of excuses why he cannot become rich, or at least earn himself a decent life. But excuses are a way of staying poor or destitute, hiding behind constant doubts, bad moods, depression or something similar. Unfortunately, this will not lift a person out of poverty. But not everything is so sad. There will be reasons - there will be a solution. If you cannot get rid of programmed poverty on your own, a specialist working in the field of personality psychology can help.
