Thoughts are a stream of consciousness that wanders around in the head often contrary to desires. A person cannot control everything he thinks about, since thought is faster than action. But like a cab, you can learn to guide them on the right path by pulling the bridle in time.
Instructions
Step 1
The thought is material. Thinking about how not to be late for an important meeting? You will certainly be late. Get rid of all thoughts with the particle "not". If you climb a cliff and say to yourself, “Don't look down,” you literally command yourself to look there. The promise not to go into debt anymore is fixed in consciousness as a desire to ask for a loan again.
Step 2
So that thoughts do not interfere with life, try to turn them into helpers. In a hurry for a meeting? Tell me you will be on time. Do you like extreme sports? Command: "Look up!" Thinking about money? Assure your own consciousness that you have enough funds to buy everything you would like to purchase. Replace every negative thought with a positive one. Practice right now. Write down on paper the experiences that have been haunting you lately. Think about what words can be used to change them.
Step 3
Read oriental literature and practice yoga. Try meditating. If you are not comfortable with these things, get into the habit of sitting in complete silence for 15 minutes every day. The time of day for this exercise does not matter. Unplug your phone, unplug your music, shut down your computer, and be all alone for 15 minutes. At first, it will be difficult to completely get rid of the thoughts, but to do this, just listen to the silence.
Step 4
Keep a diary. It is a great habit to free your head from harmful or inappropriate experiences swarming in your head. It is advisable to take notes in the morning. Write without thinking too much about the possible incoherence of the text. After all, this is how you free your consciousness. If something doesn't work out, don't let the “bad” thoughts eat away at your inner core. Communicate more with optimists, become an example of a strong-willed person.
