To lart means to pronounce incorrectly or not to pronounce the letter "r". Often children have problems with the pronunciation of certain letters, but with age this issue is solved by itself or with the help of a speech therapist. However, some have mispronunciation as adults. This is especially true of the letter "r", as one of the most difficult in the Russian alphabet. Fortunately, exercise and persistence can correct this small flaw.
Instructions
Step 1
Many people who do not pronounce the letter "r" do not worry about this. But there are those who strive for excellence in everything, including their own speech. If you are one of them, see a good speech therapist who works with speech impairments. He will help you to correct shortcomings in pronunciation, of course, with due diligence on your part.
Step 2
If you do not have enough free time to visit a speech therapist or prefer to study on your own, you can easily help yourself by doing a simple set of exercises. These exercises develop the vocal apparatus, muscles of the lips and tongue, and develop the necessary pronunciation skills. They can be found in speech therapy textbooks and on the Internet.
Step 3
Here are the basic exercises for correcting the letter "r". Smile alternately and pull your lips into a tube, while you can say "and - y". Do this several times. Open your mouth, lower the tip of your tongue to the lower palate, then lift to the upper palate (this exercise is called "Swing"). Move your tongue from side to side as if you were brushing your teeth. Opening your mouth, lift the tip of your tongue to the upper palate and hold for a few seconds ("Shoulder"). Fungus: let your tongue stick to the upper palate. Click your tongue on the upper palate (exercise "Horse"). Hug your upper lip with your tongue, like licking delicious jam. Imagine blowing a cotton swab off your nose.
Step 4
Practice vibration and growl. Open your mouth and tap the tubercles next to your upper teeth with the tip of your tongue, while saying "dddd …". Gradually translate to "drrrrr …". Imagine that you start the engine: "trrrrr …". In this case, the consonants "t" or "d" before the letter "p" are auxiliary, because it is often difficult to start growling right away. As you train, you can do without it.
Step 5
When the growl "dr" and "tr" is good enough for you, but the letter "r" itself is not yet pronounced, start reading sentences and poems where there is a combination of sounds "tr" or "dr", for example: sailors, tram, friends, yeast. Then move on to verses where there is the letter "r" in combination with various others. You can read prose as well. Do not forget to do this every day, because the most important thing here is perseverance and desire. The mental attitude is very important. Think about how someone pronounces the letter "r" and imagine that you also pronounce it. Then you will reflexively try to repeat the same movements of the speech apparatus, and this is much more effective than simply performing the exercises mechanically.
Step 6
Practice tongue twisters with the letter "r", for example: "There is grass in the yard, firewood on the grass", "Three crows on the gate, three magpies on the doorstep", etc.
