Only during your vacation can you really relax, sunbathe on the beach, swim in the sea, take active leisure … But the magic days are over, it's time to go back to work. The snake's body is in place, but the thoughts are still far away. How can you regain your former efficiency and working mood?

Step 1
Try to return from vacation not exactly by Monday, but a little in advance. Then you will have one or two days at home to rest and recover. During this time, you can sort things out, look at and post photos on the Internet, get a good night's sleep after a tiring flight, get used to the difference in time zones a little. It is useful to allow yourself something tasty, it is better not to do any important business, just relax and feel at home.
Step 2
At work, after vacation, do not immediately take on huge, difficult projects that require a lot of dedication. Rest and work imply completely different rhythms, and not everyone is able to quickly rebuild. If your boss and coworkers bombard you with assignments, try to explain the situation to them. You will cope with these tasks, but now it is difficult for you, and this is normal.
Step 3
Start your first day at work not by looking at the upcoming tasks (there must have accumulated a lot for your absence), but with the traditional rituals, after which you usually start. For example, have a cup of coffee. Browse your mail, browse the news. These simple habits will tune your body to work, and it will happen unconsciously. The fact that a person remembers "rituals" and reacts to them accordingly has long been proven. By the way, this is generally a good reason to start such a ritual: you can put yourself in the appropriate mood not only after vacation, but also after a long weekend.

Try to start not by completing tasks, but by asking your coworkers what happened while you were away. It's not just that they have gossip that you can't help but share with you, although this, oddly enough, also quickly returns people to work after vacation. Perhaps some new projects or deals will fundamentally change your tasks, but they have not yet been displayed in the planner. As soon as you are brought up to date, you will immediately stop feeling like a vacationer, but you will feel a working spirit.
Step 5
Eat right. Lack of cheerfulness after returning from vacation is not only due to a changed mood. Often people on vacation eat healthy food: they eat a lot of fresh fruits and vegetables, do not overeat. And, returning to their usual way of life, they again surround themselves with junk food. Reconsider your eating habits and you will feel refreshed again.
