Step 1

Avoid repeating an unpleasant situation. Draw conclusions from it and forget about it. In the end, everyone can be in a bad mood, but this should not affect your inner peace in any way. Use the following psychological trick. Imagine yourself in the form of a rock, on which the waves are breaking (your everyday adversities) and not a single storm can break it.

Step 2

Replace a negative thought with a positive one. This will help you learn not only to pay attention to annoying little things, but also gradually form an optimistic attitude towards life in you. Of course, it will be difficult at first, but soon the substitution will happen automatically. To make it easier for you to focus on the positive moments, record them in a special notebook. Date the page and write down in a column all the good things that happened to you during the day.

Step 3

Try not to do things that make you uncomfortable. Start by at least cutting out the daily news with a negative emphasis. The longer you practice cutting off unpleasant emotions and focus on what you really enjoy, the easier it will be to control the emergence of feelings. Subsequently, you will stop taking to heart some minor everyday problems, biased remarks from the outside, etc.

Step 4

Believe in yourself. Take it for granted: no matter what happens, life goes on. You cannot afford to give up, at least for the sake of loved ones. Among them, there are probably or will surely appear in the future, those who are happy next to you and for whom you are (become) an example. Continuing to traumatize yourself with baseless experiences can lead to anxiety, stress, irritability, possibly depression, which can lead to more serious health problems.
