It so happens that a relationship that was once broken is pulled back. You constantly remember the past, live it. Again and again you return your thoughts to those happy days, sort out the details, analyze your actions and words. Each person should have their own story, but if you live in the past, you will not be able to build a new life.

Instructions

Step 1

Understand that that time, no matter how wonderful it may seem to you now, will never return. You can only draw conclusions from it, analyze your mistakes in order to try never to repeat them. Understand the reasons why your happiness did not work out. Tell yourself: “Stop living in the past!” And start your life anew.

Step 2

The reason that pleasant memories of the past are constantly returning may be poor events, boring and monotonous your life today. The deficit of new impressions is unconsciously made up for by supplies from the baggage of a past life. So, fill your real life with new events, acquaintances and impressions. Stop sitting at home in the evenings, declining offers to meet and go out with friends. For example, start traveling or find a hobby that will help you make new interesting acquaintances.

Step 3

If, on the contrary, memories of the past pull a train of resentment and betrayal with them, you could withdraw into yourself and stop trusting people. Perhaps you are simply afraid of new relationships so that you do not experience more disappointments. Bad experiences keep you from opening up to new feelings. But even in this case, you should not lock yourself in four walls. You have family and friends who always love you, they will support you and will never betray you. Meet with them more often, enjoy their attention and love, believe in yourself and in people again.

Step 4

Analyze your unwillingness to forget the past, the reasons why you cling to it. Perhaps you unconsciously do not want to change something in your life, you are afraid to get out of this closed, but already such familiar circle. Honestly admit this to yourself - maybe the role of a victim of circumstances suits you, you like the attention and sympathy of others? Discard this behavior before it's too late. At a time when you cherish memories - life can pass by.

Step 5

Stop fruitless suffering. Throw a party with your friends and solemnly bury the past so that from tomorrow you can continue life, appreciating every moment of the present and hoping for the future.
