Unwillingness to live is associated with serious losses in a person's life: work, home, relatives, friends, loved ones. Depression can be caused by disappointment in your abilities, frequent failures in business, negative statements or actions of people around you. The devastation and loss of interest in life can be overcome on your own. However, you will achieve a greater effect if there is a benevolent person nearby who will provide you with psychological support.
Instructions
Step 1
Discover a new meaning in life. Set a meaningful goal and try to achieve it. Remember childhood hobbies. What have you dreamed of becoming? Perhaps you once dreamed of learning to paint or dance. Sign up for painting lessons or start attending a dance studio. Do something different from your usual lifestyle. Fill your day with new experiences. One of the ways to revive the zest for life is to engage in extreme sports: skiing, diving, skydiving, etc. A sense of risk, imminent danger will make you understand that life is the most precious thing you have. Exercise promotes the production of endorphins, the hormone of joy.
Step 2
Find the person in trouble and try to help him. First, you realize that your trouble is not an isolated incident in the world. Secondly, by helping another person, you will be distracted from your own negative experiences. Thirdly, together it is easier to find a way out and get the strength to live on. Try not to feel sorry for each other, not to indulge weaknesses and self-flagellation, but to consider ways to solve the problem and do something to solve it.
Step 3
Change your environment. Does work plunge you into depression, constant feelings of fear or rejection? Try to get a job that will bring not only material, but also moral satisfaction. Do the walls of the house remind you of a person who is irrevocably gone? Change your place of residence or go somewhere for a while: to a resort, on a tourist excursion, to visit distant relatives. Recreation in nature helps to distract from negative thoughts. Do acquaintances regularly remind you of some unpleasant incident, pressure you or make fun of you? Change your social circle or learn to resist pressure. Take self-training or meditation to get your negative thoughts and emotions under control.
