Stress ruins your appearance, undermines your health, and ultimately takes away your life time. But no one is immune from unpleasant moments: conflicts with colleagues, claims from superiors, just negative information from the outside. Or work overhead, deadlines are running out - and a quiet panic begins.

It is important to be able to quickly relieve stress, especially while at work, where there is no opportunity to cry into a pillow, crack a couple of plates, or at least talk out.

Don't try to calm your nerves with smoking, alcohol, or strong coffee. Many people are used to seizing stress, so let's say a small piece of chocolate will trigger the release of dopamine from glucose. But a small warm-up based on breathing exercises will be much more effective and useful:

• First you need to straighten your back, draw in your stomach and straighten your shoulders - this can be easily done even while sitting. Having removed the body blocks in this way, you need to sit for a few minutes with your eyes closed. Even such simple actions can be very helpful in a stressful situation.

• Then you need to consciously switch your thoughts - stop thinking about the stress factor.

• It will not be superfluous to think about how not only the posture, but also the face look from the outside - whether it is worth informing everyone about your problems. Then take out a mirror and, looking into it, remove an angry, tense or offended expression from your face.

When there is no way to leave the room, these manipulations will not attract attention, but will allow you to calm down and concentrate. And if there is an opportunity to get away, hiding from prying eyes, you can give the body an additional motor load:

• To begin with, you should sit down so that your legs can hang freely, and twist them alternately.

• Then you need to move your woven legs from side to side several times, straighten them, strain them, and at the end - relax.

• After that, you need to get up, stretch your whole body, bend over and, resting your hands on your knees, make a long exhalation, as if expelling all the air from the body.

• Then you need to deeply inhale through the nose as much air as possible, while simultaneously drawing in the stomach. It is important to try to hold the exhalation until it works and exhale noisily through the mouth.

Now you can return to the workplace with renewed vigor and a clear head.
